Password Generator

Strong random passwords with controls for length and character sets and a live entropy readout. Generated in your browser with the crypto random API. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Entropy: 129 bitsVery strong

It runs entirely on your device

Every password is generated locally using crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographic random source. No password is transmitted, logged, or stored. Reload the page and it is gone.

Length beats complexity. A longer all-lowercase passphrase usually has more entropy than a short string of mixed symbols, and it is easier to type. For anything you reuse or care about, 80 bits or more is a sensible floor, which is what the readout above tracks.

The real fix is to not memorize these at all. Generate a long random password per account and let a password manager hold them. If you self-host, Bitwarden vs Vaultwarden covers running your own vault.
